Seniors Online, Part 1

2011 has been one of big developments at HR Imaging, so stay tuned for lots of updates. First, we’re happy to announce that any Root Studios’ 2012 Senior now has the ability to view, confirm, and change his or her senior photography session online. Throughout the season, seniors have been able to arrange their senior session around their own schedule with the convenience of doing so online, 24-hours a day. It’s quick. It’s easy. Welcome to Our New Director of Photography

We’re happy to announce a new addition to our HR Imaging Partners photography department. Greg Stangl of Aurora IL is joining HR Imaging Partners, Inc. in the role of Director of Photography. Greg has a Master’s Degree in Photography, a Craftsman Degree and is Certified by the Professional Photographers of America. Greg is a multiple AN-NE Award Winner, (the top marketing award in the PP of A) for his total studio marketing program and his high school senior newsletter.

Greg has had several PP of A loan collection prints and portraits of his have been displayed on the cover of the Professional Photographer magazine and at Epcot Center in Florida.

Greg has been a professional photographer for nearly 40 years. He has had a varied career as a photojournalist, newspaper photo-department head, and, for 32 years, a portrait studio owner and consultant to the portrait industry.

He has presented seminars and workshops in 45 US states and in 7 foreign counties. He has taught at 10 PP of A affiliate schools and at the original Winona School in Chicago IL. He has presented programs at both the PP of A and WPPI national conventions.

Greg was also on the faculty of two area colleges where he taught a variety of photography-related courses. Greg has also organized and produced training programs for Olan Mills, Moto-Photo, The Virtual Background Company, Denny Manufacturing and Burrell Colour. Greg has had articles published in 10 professional photography magazines.

We welcome him to HRIP and hope to improve our own work by benefiting from his knowledge and experience.
